Travel | The One Day That I Was In The Louvre
Thursday, 12 September 2019
It was truly a beautiful day to be in Paris.
I was in Paris for one day- exactly one day- so I had to compact everything that I wanted to do into the constraints.
Once in Paris, everything had its own flawless quirk. Traveller's chasing the famous Parisian lifestyle that they had dreamed about and has an entire interest board to represent and immerse themselves.
Minute flaws seem to dwarf itself against the beautiful attractions where each individual is mentally ticking things off on their 'to see list' and documenting their time.
Each winding road that converges into another similar looking road is every photographers dream as Paris is undeniably stunning. The best times to have the clearest view of iconic sites like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Champ Elysee would be in the early morning, this allows other travellers to slowly trickle in whilst you make a swift exit to your next landmark.
Being in Paris strangely reminded me of my AS Level Paris Poetry Anthology where each poem that we studied had a theme of Paris or was inspired by the city. It was crazy to see subjects that was on paper was suddenly right in front of me.
Funnily enough, I am going to Paris again for the 2nd time in 2 years. Hopefully I get to try some more new things and create more fun memories.
