A Korean Makeup Haul and some more 2016

Korea, Makeup, Haul,
This summer I had the opportunity to go to Korea for 5 days. I assure you a travel diary is coming soon but, I've just been too lazy with all things school and ucas!

I'm going to keep this post relatively brief with the product descriptions and whatnot as I'm planning to do the reviews on separate posts once I have tested out over a longer period of time:)
Korean, BB Cushion, Haul, Summer, IOPE, APRIL SKIN, ETUDE HOUSE
It would be daft of me not to buy the infamous BB cushions from where they were first invented so I bought a few.

Iope Air Cushion Intense Cover SPF 50+PA+++ in W21
This is definitely the most luxurious cushion that I had bought. It looks so stunning in my makeup bag that I don't ever want to use it aha. As I haven't had the chance to use this yet as it's still a bit too light for my skin tone I will put a review up of this cushion at a later date.

I purely bought this because it was on offer with a whooping 40% off and I'm a sucker for a good bargain. This cushion is in my 'To be used' drawer as I've got too many foundations and cushions that I need to use up before I start a new one.

First thing I need to say is I sincerely aplogise for my disgusting dirty cushion. Okay, let's continue.
For my base makeup, I've been reaching for this cushion. This cushion is the darkest shade of cushion that I own therefore it suits my 'sunkissed' burnt skin from the summer. It has the slimmest packing among the other cushions but I suspect is has less amount of product than the others and it provides a relatively matte finish.

Innisfree no sebum loose powder, Innisfree Eyeshadow, Innisfree Essence
Whenever I watched Korean beauty youtubers rave about this product I never realised what a bargain this loose powder truly is. You can't really go wrong with this loose powder.

This product is currently hibernating in my 'to be used' drawer as i'm still using my Clinique essence however, I think by the next month this product will finally see the light once it's incorporated into my skin care routine.

I've been absolutely smitten with the pink and dusty rose makeup trend. I've been using this by itself packed onto the lids as it gives an orange peachy warmth to the lids.

When I went into shops to buy my products, I was pleasantly surprised that they give you lots and lots and lots of free samples. Bless. The samples are mainly the foil packages which are normally on the one-use bases however, if you strike lucky you actually get little sample packs (tubs) like the one above.

If you ever take a trip to Korea, socks is an item that floods the streets.
They are perfect souvenirs with lots of quirky patterns and they always have amazing offers which defo keeps my purse and I happy. I think I stuffed my suitcase with approximately 15 pairs of socks and I still wanted more.

Over the last year, my love of kpop had suddenly flourished. I thought it would be a great memory to commemorate my first kpop album being bought in Korea with my favourite kpop group- Seventeen.
This is the Seventeen 'Love & Letter' Repackaged version and I'm absolutely in love.

Thanks Korea~

  1. I can't wait to read all about your trip and how you get on with all your beauty goodies. The Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder sounds really interesting. I have oily skin so loose powders are a must for me!
